Corolet API · v1

Let AI agents run your YouTube channel

The Corolet API gives an AI agent or a script the same control you have in Corolet Studio: read and configure your channel — subject, language, how many videos a week, autopilot — follow every video from production to publication, and check your credits. Corolet does the work: it finds topics, writes and narrates, edits, designs the thumbnail and publishes at your audience's peak time.

Quickstart

1. Create a free account at corolet.com and connect your YouTube channel in the Studio (a one-time step that needs you: Google asks for your consent).

2. Create a key in App → API. It starts with cor_live_ and is shown once.

3. Call the API:

curl https://corolet.com/api/v1/studio/channel \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer cor_live_..."

Authentication

Every request sends the key as a bearer token. Base URL: https://corolet.com/api. JSON in, JSON out.

Authorization: Bearer cor_live_...

A key belongs to one workspace. Revoke it any time in App → API; a revoked key stops working immediately.

Endpoints

GET/v1/me

Your workspace and credit balance.

{ "workspace": { "id": "cm…", "name": "My Workspace", "plan": "free" }, "credits": 30 }
GET/v1/studio/channel

The connected YouTube channel and its settings. If no channel is connected yet, connected is false and connectUrl is where a person connects it.

{ "channel": {
    "connected": true, "youtubeChannelId": "UC…", "title": "My Channel", "handle": "@mychannel",
    "subject": "Untold stories of ancient trade routes",
    "autopilot": false, "language": "en", "videosPerWeek": 3,
    "lengthMinutes": 12, "color": "#E5303A", "connectedAt": "2026-10-14T21:00:00.000Z", "missing": []
} }
PATCH/v1/studio/channel

Change what the Studio makes. Send only the fields you want to change.

  • subject — what the channel is about (up to 600 characters).
  • autopilot — true publishes on its own; false waits for your approval in YouTube Studio.
  • language — two-letter code, e.g. en, pt, es, fr.
  • videosPerWeek — how many videos a week.
  • lengthMinutes — target length in minutes, from 3 up to your plan (Free 5, Starter 10, Pro 15, Advanced 20, Enterprise 30).
  • color — the thumbnail colour, #RRGGBB.
curl -X PATCH https://corolet.com/api/v1/studio/channel \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer cor_live_..." -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -d '{ "subject": "The economics behind everyday things", "videosPerWeek": 3, "autopilot": true }'
GET/v1/studio/videos?limit=20&status=published

Your videos, newest first. limit 1–100 (default 20); status filters by one of the values below.

{ "videos": [ {
    "id": "cli-cm…-1792016786000", "status": "scheduled",
    "title": "…", "description": "…", "tags": ["…"],
    "createdAt": "2026-10-14T20:26:26.000Z", "publishAt": "2026-10-15T16:00:00.000Z",
    "youtubeVideoId": "…", "youtubeUrl": "https://youtu.be/…",
    "studioUrl": "https://studio.youtube.com/video/…/edit"
} ], "total": 1 }
GET/v1/studio/videos/{id}

One video, same fields.

Video status

  • in_production — being researched, written, narrated or edited.
  • scheduled — uploaded; goes public at publishAt, your audience's peak time.
  • awaiting_approval — uploaded as private; publish it from studioUrl.
  • published — live on your channel.

For every video Corolet also emails the owner a report — title, length, link, publish time and the thumbnail — and, once it is public, posts a question in the comments and replies to new comments three times a day.

Errors & limits

Errors return JSON with an error code and a readable message:

  • 401 UNAUTHENTICATED — missing, wrong or revoked key.
  • 400 NOTHING_TO_UPDATE — the PATCH had no valid field.
  • 409 CHANNEL_NOT_CONNECTED — connect a YouTube channel first (connectUrl is in the response).
  • 404 NOT_FOUND — no such video in your workspace.
  • 429 — more than 120 requests a minute from one address.

For AI agents

Point your agent at the contract and it can use the API without reading this page:

https://corolet.com/openapi.json — OpenAPI 3.1, every endpoint and field
https://corolet.com/llms.txt — what Corolet is, in plain text

A system prompt that works:

You manage a YouTube channel through the Corolet API (OpenAPI: https://corolet.com/openapi.json).
Use the bearer key in COROLET_API_KEY. Check GET /v1/studio/channel first; if it is not
connected, send the owner connectUrl. Adjust subject and videosPerWeek with
PATCH /v1/studio/channel, and report on GET /v1/studio/videos.
